What does an autism evaluation involve?Our evaluation includes a developmental screening, diagnostic assessment, and tailored recommendations. It is a one-hour consultation designed to give you clarity and next steps.

What ages do you evaluate for autism?We provide autism evaluations for children from toddlerhood through school age. If you're unsure whether your child is the right age for assessment, feel free to contact us at wonderlandpediatrics@gmail.com.

Do I need a referral for an autism evaluation?Most families self-refer. However, some insurance plans may require a referral - please check with your provider or call our office for help.

How much does an autism evaluation cost if we don't have insurance?For uninsured families, the evaluation fee is $225. This includes the one-hour consultation, screening and diagnostic tools, and a written report with recommendations.

How should I prepare my child for the appointment?We recommend bringing a few comfort items and snacks if needed. No special preparation is required. We aim to create a calm, child-friendly environment.

When will I receive the results?You'll receive a detailed written report within 7 business days. This report will outline findings, diagnosis (if applicable), and any referrals or support services we recommend.

What happens after the evaluation?If needed, we'll provide referrals for therapies, specialists or developmental services. We're here to help you navigate the next steps with confidence.
