Got Questions? We Have Answers!

Can I use insurance? Insurance reimbursement for developmental evaluations does not reflect the time and expertise required for an accurate diagnosis. To maintain the highest quality of care, our autism evaluations are offered as a private-pay service. This allows us to spend the time each child deserves — without rushed appointments or waitlists. We provide a detailed receipt for families who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement.

What is the cost? Package 1: $325 Package 2: $495 Package 3: $695 With the payment plan, price can be broken up into 4 payments.

Are these evaluations accepted by ABA centers to start therapy? Yes. Our comprehensive autism evaluations meet the documentation requirements for most ABA and early intervention programs. Your written report will include a formal diagnosis (when appropriate), DSM-5 criteria, and clear recommendations — exactly what ABA providers and schools request to begin services. We regularly collaborate with local ABA centers, speech therapists, and early intervention teams, and families are welcome to share their report directly with those providers. Our goal is to make sure your child can start receiving support as soon as possible — without long waitlists or extra steps.

Will the evaluation tell me if it is something other than Autism? Yes. Our goal is to understand your child’s strengths and challenges — not just to give a label. Many children we see have developmental differences, speech delays, ADHD traits, or sensory concerns that overlap with autism. Your report will clearly explain what we found and what steps will help your child thrive.

How do I know if my child really needs an autism evaluation? If you’ve noticed your child isn’t communicating, playing, or connecting the way you expected — it’s worth getting an evaluation. An autism evaluation doesn’t just diagnose; it helps you understand your child’s developmental profile so you can get the right support early. Some signs that may suggest an evaluation is helpful include: • Limited eye contact or response to name • Speech delay or loss of words • Preferring to play alone or repeating the same actions over and over • Strong reactions to sounds, textures, or changes in routine You don’t need to wait for a referral or for things to get worse. A professional evaluation provides clarity — whether it confirms autism, identifies another developmental difference, or simply gives you peace of mind. The earlier you have answers, the sooner your child can get the support they need to thrive.

Why do I need a diagnosis? Why can't I just start therapy? That’s an excellent question — and one we hear often from caring parents who are ready to help their child right away. The truth is, therapy is most effective when it’s guided by an accurate diagnosis. A comprehensive evaluation helps answer why certain challenges are happening — whether it’s autism, a language delay, ADHD, or another developmental difference. Each condition requires different therapy strategies, goals, and funding options. In most cases, ABA therapy centers, schools, and insurance providers require a formal diagnosis before services can begin. A clear diagnosis also helps your therapy team tailor treatment to your child’s strengths and needs from the very start. Getting an evaluation now means less guessing, faster access to services, and a roadmap that ensures your child receives the right kind of help — not just more sessions. The evaluation is the first step toward confident, individualized care that truly supports your child’s growth.
